FACTORS TO CONSIDER ON CHOOSING THE RIGHT PERFUMES

With the thousands of fragrances in the market, it can sometimes be tricky choosing the right one that is perfect for your taste, personality, occasion, e.t.c. Check out the following basic tips that you may find useful when choosing the right perfumes and fragrances:

Firstly, determine your budget: Determining your budget or the money you are to spend before hand, will narrow down the choises and will save you a lot of time as perfumes are prised in a very big range, from very inexpensive colognes to luxurious designer brands.


Secondly, know what particular smell you want and go for it: Decide on what ype of fragrance you want based on what use the perfume would be to you. Forinstance, is it to seduce or please a lover? Is it for special occasions? Is it for everyday wash and wear? If you want it to be an everyday whiff you can wear to work or school, you may want o buy a lighter and fresher scent. If it is for big parties and formal events, choose a perfume or fragrance that makes a stronger impact by blending well with your body chemistry.

Thirdly, examine carefully before buying: Now that you have finally narrowed down your choices and you are ready to go to a perfume shop, do not forget to carefully examine each perfume you fancy before geting ahead of yourself and buying. Spray the perfumes first on a card or paper and decide if you like it, if not, move on to the next. Once you find a scent that you think it is perfect then, start testing it on your body by apply a small amount on you wrist or at the back of your arm. However, the saleslady may offer to apply some in her own skin and have you smell it. This is a no-no because each of us react to perfumes and fragrances in different ways so be sure that it is alrght for you by applying it on your own skin then wait for a few minutes because fragrances start to grow on you and smell different after a while.

 Other factors like weather or season are also important o consider: If you live in a very humid setting, go for the fragrances that complement the sultry weather and if you are surrounded by a lot of people in near proximity, do not choose a very strong perfume because not everyone like perfume. If you will be out on a date and want to heighten the romance, choose a scent that is a bit stronger but not overpowering.
